Nyukur(da)

Nyukur is a site with two rockholes west of Minna Minna, and Tamantjarra is a little rock hole further west again. Two ladies carrying special women's lore objects are confronted by two men (wati kutjarra) who want to see what they have got. The two ladies hid it underneath them as they are sitting down. The men travel on toward lake Kulutjarra where they find bush tobacco before heading back to find the women again, they watch them from afar cry and sing. One lady has lost her special dog and they sing and walk looking for the dog. The tracks denote this movement across the landscape the physical relationship of the mythical story to the real place.
