Set of Two.
1. This painting depicts the Gnarmer Holes (Water Holes). These are places that our old people were told about many years ago, the Gnarmer holes were places of significance to our people while passing through the country travelling from various places. Today we are told and shown these places by our elders which are said to have water in them all year round.
2. This painting depicts the bush land in and around and throughout the Eastern Yilgarn and Wheatbelt regions. Here around these places we have for many years travelled around walking the bush looking for significant cultural sites and for food such as the Bikatu’s (Red Kangaroo), Bardies and other bush foods.
