This is a sacred seven sisters' story for women from her place of birth. You are only allowed to paint the places you have ancestral rights to. The capitalisation of the C in Country when referring to sites is symbolic of this. The work is about the movement of the sisters trying to escape the lusty man. He shape shifts into a snake, the sisters eat him and get sick. This story is typical of senior artists whom grew up in the bush and lived their lives by these ancient principals embedded in place.
