Tiger is telling us about favourite traditional foods the Pitjantjatjara people hunted and cooked to eat. The large white lizards are the Perentie or Monitor lizards. The smaller lizards are Tinka or Sand Goanna and Langka or Blue Tongue lizard. The red circles are holes the lizards live in. The white circles to the left of the ngintaka at the top of the picture are the lizard’s eggs. These are considered a delicacy. The circle with white dots inside, in the bottom left corner, represent a bowl of kampurarpa or bush raisin.
